Missing Person Florida Christopher George

The bones found in the Apopka Lake have been positively identified as belonging to  Christopher George.  The coroner was not able to determine the cause of death.  Witnesses stated that George was under the influence of drugs when he went missing.  The coroner stated, “It is my suspicion that [George] ran into the vegetation surrounding the lake area under the influence of drugs,” Dr. Joshua D. Stephany wrote in the autopsy report. “And for some reason became incapacitated and drowned.”

Human bones found in a wooded area of Apopka, Florida on Monday, may be tied to the disappearance of a man and a woman.  Chris George, 29, has been missing since the police found his white Nissan Xterra on February 12, 2009. The human bones that were found on Monday and Tuesday where found in the same area that George’s vehicle was found. At 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, authorities asked Rachael George, Chris’ mother to come to the police station.
“I don’t even have a glimmer of hope that he’s alive,” she said. “It’s cemented that he’s dead.” George is not the only person that the bones may belong to. They may also belong to Tracy Ocasio, 27, who also has been missing since 2009.
