Angelica Sandoval: Woman takes her laundry and baby into house then disappears

3/6/2011 -I have found out that on Friday, because Angelica didn’t show up to testify in the case against Jose Luis Meraz, 21, who is charged with breaking into her house and threatening her, the case has been dismissed without prejudice, meaning it can be re-filed when Sandoval is found.

I wonder if there is a connection between her disappearance and the case, but that is only my thought.

According to a background check by 7NEWS, “Meraz has several felony convictions dating to 1997. He has been arrested for burglary, driving under the influence, trespassing, attempting to escape from custody, assault and had several instances of distributing dangerous drugs.”

Luckily, IMO, the guy is still in jail, for assault on a peace officer back in October.  A woman that lives in Colorado had just returned from a laundry mat around 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday when she disappeared.

Angelica Sandoval brought in her load of laundry and her one-year old baby into the house, and then returned to her car to get her purse. That is the last time she was seen.
Angelica’s brother who was inside the home on the 700 block of 13th Street in Alamosa, wondered where she went. He went out to the car and found her purse lying on the ground and the car door open, but Angelica was no where.
