Finally! So many of these cases I never see an arrest for or the arrests are months to years away after a murder, but NYPD wasn’t going to let this one drag on. Today they arrested Edwin Coello.
Eddy Coello, is the husband of Tina Adovasio who was found murdered.
“A team of eight plainclothes cops hustled a handcuffed Coello out of a side entrance and brought him to the back seat of an unmarked car with tinted windows and drove off.”
NYPD cops found Edwin at his Bronx home at 2079 Wallace Ave. in Morris Park around 2:30 p.m. today. He was arrested and charged with 2nd degree murder.
Tina went missing on March 11 and was found dumped in the woods five days later. An autopsy found she had been strangled and suffered blunt-force trauma to her head and chest.
Tina’s funeral was today and her 17-year-old son, Joseph said, “Tell everybody that she was a good mom. Tell everybody that she cared for her children first. Tell everybody that she was willing to do everything for us and sacrifice everything for us.”
