Missing toddler found with his dog that kept him alive (video)

Tyler Jacobson

So many times I read where toddlers walk away from their home and are found in the creeks or in the woods, often too late, but this story ends happily because of the family dog.

Tyler Jacobson, who is 22-months old went missing from his home in Elgin, South Carolina.  Police and fire searched for him on Friday night and couldn’t find him. The temperatures were in the 40’s and despite their efforts they couldn’t locate him.

The following day, two men heard crying and the police found little Tyler and his dog together. The sheriff said that the dog is what probably kept the little boy alive.
