Lauren Spierer: Police rule out truck, search continues

Lauren Spierer

The Bloomington Police Dept., has been working their tails off on the case, of missing University student, Lauren Spierer, who has been missing since June 3.  They have done massive searches, followed all tips and now are holdling press conferences to keep everyone informed.

They have ruled out the white truck that was captured on video surveillance as having any connection with the missing Lauren.

The police talked to the owner of the truck and they fully cooperated and found the truck was in that area to pick up a construction worker.

There was also some clothing that was found at the Smallwood Apartment Complex where Lauren lived and a foul odor and a mound of dirt from an area south of Martinsville.

The clothing was not linked to Lauren and the mount of dirt was just that.

The search continues and volunteers are asked to go to IU’s McNutt residence hall to help with the search.

Bloomington Police Captain Joseph Qualters told reporters Lauren’s keys were found on the railing of an apartment building near where she was last seen and they do believe there is foul play in this case.
