It has been a while since I have talked about Travis Forbes, but he was arrested for attempted murder in Fort Collins, Colorado, Monday.
Forbes a self-confessed person of interest in the case of missing Aurora teen, Kenia Monge, 19, who has not been seen since April 1st. Click here to read story about missing Kenia and click here to read my thoughts on Travis Forbes.
According to the Fort Collins Police Department, Forbes had attacked a woman, 30-year-old Lydia Tillman, who lived alone. He also poured bleach on her body and set her apartment on fire. The woman was able to save herself by jumping from the second-story window. She is in the hospital in a medically-induced coma with burns all over her body.
In May, Forbes was arrested at a home in Austin, Texas and charged with one count of unauthorized use of a vehicle in Texas and an outstanding warrant from Colorado for car theft. Since 1997, Forbes has been arrested for burglary, shoplifting, assault, trespassing, disturbing the peace and parole violations.
I am glad to see that Forbes is finally off the streets.
