Misty Stevens: Missing 5-year-old from Texas

UPDATE: Mesquite police spokesman Lt. Bill Hedgepeth said Dallas police have found missing Misty Stevens and arrested Andy McCauley. He was spotted by police driving away from a suspected drug location near Barry Road and Grand Avenue in southeast Dallas Saturday night.

McCauley was booked into the Dallas County Jail on charges of driving while intoxicated with a child; running a red light; possession of drug paraphernalia; failing to present a drivers license; and a violation of the state inspection law. No bond was set.

Misty was reunited with her mother.

Police are searching for missing Misty Stevens, 5, who may be with Andy Maul McCauley, 40.

Misty lives in Mesquite, Texas and she was last seen on Friday evening with McCauley as he was leaving the ohm on San Marcus in Mesquite to go to the grocery store in Dallas.

They had not returned by Saturday morning, but the police spoke to McCauley on Saturday afternoon and he agreed to come home.

He did not return and he was seen at a convenience store on I-30.

No Amber Alert has been issued, meaning the police don’t believe that Misty is in danger.

McCaule is driving a 1994 tan Honda Accord station wagon with Texas license plate 539-CVS.
