Morgan Johnson: Fund raiser adds to search money

A fundraiser held at a bar in Terre Haute, Indiana has helped to add additional money to help in the search for missing Morgan Johnson.

Morgan, 27, was last seen on May 18 on a security video tape leaving his home at an extended-stay motel, Value Place in Plainfield.  Johnson works for Brightpoint and had been living at the motel to save money.  Morgan’s white 1995 Pontiac Grand Am, license plate JS1830 is also missing.

Morgan disappeared on the day his grandfather died, and Morgan’s aunt, Janice Johnson says that Morgan was very upset, but he would not miss his grandfathers funeral.

“We don’t have much of anything to go on at this point.  We have just been told to keep searching,” said Gloria Jones, who is organizing an event to raise money to help search for Morgan.

Morgan drives a white 1995 Pontiac Grand Am, license plate # JS1830.

His family has set up a reward fund.

A Facebook page called “Find Morgan Johnson” is helping to spread the word he is missing and thousands are joining the page to show their support.

Anyone with information on Morgan Johnson’s whereabouts should call the Plainfield Police Department at 317-839-2566.
