The extended family members of missing mom of two, Kimberly Nelson, 40, have reported on Facebook that she was found dead in Muncie, Indiana on Wednesday.

She was last seen last seen, August 1, leaving her job at the Youth Opportunity Center at 6:30 a.m. Monday. 

Kimberly’s 1997 Pontiac Sunfire was found in a parking lot at Cardinal Greenway trailhead, on August 4, which is close to where her body was found in a wooded area next to Ag Best on Granville.

Police have not confirmed it is Kimberly, and said the body was not identifiable at the point and an autopsy will be performed on Thursday to confirm the identity.

Authorities have not speculated on the cause of death.
