Alice Davis: Missing teacher from Maryland FOUND

UPDATE:  Alice’s body found on Sept. 11 located in a wooded around behind the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob Church on Loretto Road.  Several members of the congregation found the body.  Dental records confirmed the body was Alice.  She died from blunt force trauma to her head.  The investigation concluded that her husband killed her.

Alice Elizabeth Davis, 55, from Salisbury, Maryland has been missing since last Sunday evening, when she didn’t come back from shopping at Wal-mart.

Alice’s husband called the police around 8:00 p.m., wen she didn’t return.

Fruitland police found her blue Honda hatchback at the Big Lots parking lot, which is across the street from Wal-Mart.  Videos that were obtained from Big Lots does not show that Alice was there.   “It doesn’t appear she was in there,” said Sgt. David Owens.

Authorities searched the Tony Tank waterway and found nothing.  In the next fews days divers will search the water.

Family members, which includes her sister former Salisbury Mayor Barrie Tilghman and even students at Parkside high school where Alice taught high school provided no more clues as to where Alice may be.

  1. This seems odd to me. He reports his wife missing 1.5 hrs after she leaves to WalMart. Has anyone ever been to WalMart on Labor Day???? who get's out of there in only 1.5 hours? She's probably still in line…
