Police dog finds missing toddler in cornfield

Police DoThis

This child has already been found, but and I wanted to tell you about it for three reasons.  One, because it has a happy ending, two, it has a dog in the story,  and three, so you can see that little kids can wander pretty far from home, so don’t under estimate how far their little legs can take them.

Police have not released the child’s name, but a two-year-old boy was reported missing on Monday, from his home on 5th Northeast in Glendorado Township in Minnesota, around 5:47 p.m.  His parents, Ann and Zachary Swanson called the police and said he had  been missing for about 45 minutes.

The police including a K-9 officer with his dog, that has not been named, searched for the boy and they successfully found him in a cornfield a half-mile away from home at 7:00 p.m.

Kudos to the police dog that tracked him to the Benton County cornfield.
