Mark Bosworth: Missing cyclist from Oregon

9/18/2011 – Authorities have been searching for Mark Bosworth, 54, who was last seen walking towards his tent at the Cycle Oregon Campsite in Riddle, Oregon, this weekend, and he still has not been found.  Mark has volunteered for Cycle Oregon for four years.  Deputies were called in after no one could locate Mark.  The deputies found no evidence of foul play in his disappearance, and determined he may be suffering from a medical condition before he disappeared.

Glen Bolen said he was with Mark on Friday night when he left to go to the restroom and didn’t come back for a long time.  When he did returned he said he had gotten side tracked talking to someone.  Later that evening Bolen was talking with Mark near the campground around 11:00 p.m. and after they split up that was the last time he saw him.

Mark had complained about a headache earlier that day and that he was feeling really tired.  Mark’s friends say that Mark seemed different than usual and they were concern about him.

Mark is 6 feet tall, 180 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes.  He was wearing a gray hood sweatshirt, black bicycle pants and a hat.
