Kolajo Afolabi: Missing Harvard student

Update: This just in, Lt. George Stamatakos of the Providence Police Dept. said that Kolajo was found at Washington and Greene Streets around 9:45.  He had fallen while running and sustained a head injury.  He was taken to the hospital, but died from his injury.  Prayers to the family.

I have received a message this morning for help on spreading the word about Kolajo Paul Afolabi who has been missing since September 21.

Kolajo left his home in Providence, RI to go running around 9:00 a.m..  He left his wallet, keys and cell phone at home, but did take his iPod and house key.

Kolajo is 6’3″ tall, 185 pounds and hazel eyes.  He is a student at the Harvard school of education and has a PhD and is teaching classes in education at Brown University.
Kolajo’s sister says, his disappearance is completely out of character and of great concern.

“He owns a home in Providence that he shares with his partner and their two dogs.  He is incredibly reliable and follows a daily routine, and his running path is not in a remote or unpopulated area.  I spoke with him at length on the evening of Tuesday, 9/20 and he was in good spirits and working on lesson plans for a class he is teaching at Brown,” said Kolajo’s sister.

If you have any information, please contact the Providence PD at 401-272-3121.
