Mark A. Wise: Missing from Neah Bay, Washington

Mark A. Wise, 49, was last seen on Friday when he left his home around 7:45 a.m.   He was heading into Port Angeles to pay his union dues and shop.  At 12:30 he called his wife, Susan from Port Angeles and he has not been seen since.

His truck was found in Portland, Oregon on Sunday. His GPS was still inside.

Susan says her husband Mark had not been to Portland for more than 20 years.   He is a retired firefighter and a licensed first responder and has ru the Neah Bay food Bak and the USDA food program.

CIRCUMSTANCE:  It is believed Mr. Wise may be in the Salem, Oregon area and may be in need of medical attention.  Mark was last seen by his wife, of 14 years, on Friday, September 9, 2011.  His wife spoke with him while he was in Port Angeles around 12:30 pm. He left to run errands and had just made his payments on his truck and union dues for the month so it was with all appearances that he did not intend to go “missing” on his own accord.  His family fears that perhaps he may be suffering from some type of undiagnosed cognitive disorder as this is out of his character and may be having neurological problems that caused him to go missing, as he was seeing a neurologist for bad headaches only a week prior to him going missing.
Mark did not leave with any clothing, his coat or hat and had very little cash on him.

If you know the whereabouts of Mark, please call the Neah Bay police at 360-645-2701.
