Previous story:

Alexis Rasmussin, 16, of North Ogden, Utah, was found in a shallow grave in Utah. It was determined she died of a drug overdose.

Authorities say that a CS led them to the grave site, according to Salt Lake Tribune.

Alexis was last seen On September 10 by the Millerberg’s, who Alexis was baby sitting for.

According to Bonnie Cain, Alexis’ mom, Dea Millerberg told her she picked up Alexis from a party in Pleasant View to bring her to her house so she could babysit.  Later that evening Dea took Alexis to Walgreen’s pharmacy in Layton while Dea’s husband, Eric, watched the children.  Store surveillance video confirms they were there around 10:20 p.m.   The Millerberg’s went out after Alexis and Dea returned home, and Bonnie told Alexis via a text, to just stay there for the night as the Millerberg’s were not back home.    Dea said when they got home, they all went to sleep, but about 30 minutes later Alexis woke them up and said a friend was giving her a ride home.

The Millerberg’s are currently in jail for drug charges and were arrested on October 7 for prescription fraud.
An autopsy will be conducted to confirm the identity of the body and cause of death.
