David Roy Brown: Body of skydiver found

David Roy Brown, 37,  taught skydiving and worked at Skydive Moab, Utah.  He went for a walk and when he didn’t show up for work, he was reported missing on June 29. (see original story here.)

A hiker came across David’s body in Kane Creek Canyon on Sunday.

Although there was a intensive search for David in the days following his disappearance, he was never found.  The location where he was found was rugged terrain and could have been easily missed by the searchers.

There was no explanation or theory on the cause of his death and an autopsy is scheduled.

David was a world record-holding national champion skydiver
