William Dean Damon: Teen missing from Tampa Found

Update:  On Thursday afternoon, officials said the friend Damon was staying with contacted authorities after seeing news reports about the 16-year-old being

William Damon, 16, who goes by Dean, was last seen leaving his home to go to a friends house on Saturday night.  On Monday, he texted his mother and told her he was on his way home, but he never showed up.

Authorities are searching across the state for him.  They say his cellphone has not been used since Monday. 

“He always comes home on time.  We’ve never had him unaccounted for an hour,” said Scott Damon, Dean’s father.

Because Dean has always been dependable, the police do not believe him to be a runaway.

Dean may be driving a blue, 2007 Nissan X-tera with Florida license tag no. 457XXG. 

Damon is 5’10”, 160 pounds, short brown hair and hazel eyes.  He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a lime green fox printed on the front, jeans and black boots.  He was last seen near 1591 Semorna Circle North in Winter Park
