Mother and son missing in Utah

Update:  Suzanne and her son are fine.  Police said she called her daughter Sarah from a new phone she bought in Florida.  The phone she bought in Utah fell in the dog’s water dish and no longer worked.

Suzanne Ribas, 48,  and her 13-year-old son have been missing since Thursday.  They were traveling to Florida to relocate and have not been heard from in several days.

Sarah, Suzanne’s daughter, who was already in Florida was talking to her mom on a prepaid cell phone when the call was dropped in Spanish Fork Canyon, Utah.

“She did specifically say that she was on U.S. 6 in Price canyon,” said Sarah, “and then the phone cut out and that was the last time I talked with my mom.”

After Sarah could not get back in contact with her mom, she called the police on Saturday.

If you are in that area, please keep a lookout for Suzanne, her son and their poodle AND there 1997 black Ford Taurus, license plate C647BB.

If you see them, please call 801-840-4000.
