Karen Swift: Body of missing Tennessee woman found

The body of missing Karen Johnson Swift from Dyersburg, Tennessee woman has been found in a wooded area in Dyer County.

S/A John Mehr of the TBI, says that Karen was located on Saturday and the case has gone from missing person to a homicide investigation.

Karen had gone to pick up her daughter from a Halloween party the last evening she was seen.  They both returned to their home on Willie Johnson Road in Dyersburg and they both went to bed.  Her daughter woke up around 6:00 a.m. and saw that her mom was gone. 

Karen’s 2004 Nissan Murano was found on Millsfield Highway near Harness Road with flat tires, and a pair of jeans and a grey zip-up top was found by the side of the road, close to her car
