Mark Johnson: Man who went missing after home burned down returns

Mark A. Johnson, 49, whose went missing after his house was found burned down on November 28th, has returned home.

“I want to thank my fiends and the entire community for your outpouring of prayers, concern and support.  No one can even begin to imagine how I am feeling right now, but I want everyone to know that I am doing alright and that I am safe,” said Mark.

Firefighters arrived at Mark’s home at 2699 Eckert Road that Monday evening to fight

the fire.  Once it was determined that Mark was not in the home when it burned, his family and friends searched the woods around the home looking for him.   Mark’s two children were at their grandmother’s home and authorities found family photos and miscellaneous items in Mark’s car.  Mark was not found and no one knew what happened to him.

“I am going through some personal matters that I cannot discuss further at this time.  I needed to get away for a little while, but I never intended to cause worry or pain to my friends and family and I hope you will all understand that,” said Mark.
