Evan Montgomery: 17-month-old missing from Houston Walmart after car stolen FOUND

Update: Evan Montgomery was found safe in the abandoned car!

Evan Montgomery was in the backseat of a Jeep Cherokee when it was stolen from a Houston Walmart around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Authorities are reporting that the toddler’s mother parked the Jeep at the Walmart on South Gessner at West Bellfort and went inside to get cash from an ATM and she left the keys in the ignition and the engine running.  She left Evan and his 7-year-old cousin in the car, because it was cold.

A man dress in black jumped into the car and the little girl got out.

The Jeep’s Texas license plates are BP2NO42.  And there is a sticker that reads, “Baby on Board”.

If you have any information please contact the police at 713-308-3600.
