Jasmine Cossio: Missing from San Marcos

Update:  Authorities said Jasmine was found safe shortly after 12:15 p.m. at her grandmother’s house.

She may have already been found at a relatives.

(No picture released yet, I will post as soon as I get it).

Jasmine Cossio, 12,is missing from San Marcos, which is in San Diego County.

Jasmine left for school this morning at Woodland Middle School, but never showed up. There is no information how Jasmine’s mother knew she didn’t make it to school, but she called the police around 9:30 a.m.  According to their website, the school policy is: “If we do not hear from a parent/guardian regarding your student’s absence, we will attempt to telephone you in the evening.”

Jasmine is 5’2″ tall, 80 pounds, with long black hear.  She was wearing a red sweatshirt, black sweatpants and carrying a purple backpack.
