Jessica Ronhock: Missing Arizona student found

UPDATE:  April 1, 2012

Jessica’s body was found inside her car that had a single car crash along an Arizona highway, said authorities.  A hiker saw the wrecked car off I-17, 25 miles south of Flagstaff.  The car had rolled multiple times.

Jessica Ronhock, 21 was last seen by her college roommate on January 10.

Jessica is attending Elmira College in New York and had told her roommate that she was going home to Mashpee, Mass, because of a family emergency, but family members say they have not talked to her since January 12.

Authorities confirmed that Jessica was in Chattahoochee, Florida from Jan 12 through 14.

On January 22, the family received some personal writings from Jessica that were mailed from Williams, which is about 60 miles from the Grand Canyon.  Jessica has also used her credit card in Williams, Arizona and in Baytown, Texas.

Police are asking people to be on the look out for her white 2000 Jeep Cherokee, license 66JX98 registered out of Massachusetts.

The vehicle has stickers on the rear quarter panels as well as a “notable” one on the upper center of the tailgate that reads “MASSHOLE.”

The Jeep also has a dented rear hatch below the lift handle and a tow bar setup on the front bumper.

Elmira Police said Jessica was in Baytown, Texas, on Jan. 15.

Jessica is 5’7″ tall, 150-160- pounds, and has brown hair that has been cut below her ears, brown eyes and a tattoo of a rose on her left shoulder and a butterfly on her right hip.  She was driving a white, 2000 Jeep Cherokee and police believe she was heading to the Grand Canyon.
