Meara Nichols: Missing Nintendo employee from Washington Found

UPDATE:  Meara Lynn Nichols, 33, contacted family members, Everett police Lt. Robert Goetz said.

“She has not been talking too much about her reason for leaving,” Goetz said.

Meara Lynn Nichols, 33, was last seen on Monday morning at her home on the 6800 block of Commercial Avenue, in Everett by her husband, Matthew.

Meara was taking the day off from he job at Nintendo to go to a conference for her son, at his school.

Later information was found that no conference was scheduled.  She also withdrew a large sum of money from her personal account on Monday. 

She did not take her car nor her purse.  When her husband returned home, her laptop was on and she had been on Facebook. 

Meara’s husband was given a lie detector test and he passed.   Matthew has been arrested for unlawful imprisonment and domestic violence last year, said the police, but they do not consider him a person of interest. 

Meara is 5’1″ tall, 110 pounds with hazel eyes and dark brown hair.  Her lower lip is pierced and she was seen wearing blue jeans, black Carhart jacket, black shoes with white soles, black rimmed glasses and a black baseball cap.
