Nieko Lisi, 18, who is from Addison, New York, left Jasper, New York, to head to Buffalo when he disappeared.
He was last seen around 2:00 p.m. on September 30 with his friend, Robert Knight, 20, from Romulus, Michigan, when they stopped at Nieko’s uncle’s home in Addison, New York.
“Nieko told my brother they were going to Buffalo to see some friends and possibly go camping. They were in a truck that Knight said he borrowed from his grandfather. We later found out his grandfather does not own a truck,” said Rachael Davis, Nieko’s aunt.
The following day, Nieko’s grandmother called him on his cellphone, but he said he was unable to talk and would call her back, but he never did.
On October 1, Robert arrived at his parent’s home in Romulus and said that Nieko dropped him off.
On October 3, Nieko’s mother received an envelope in the mail that had Nieko’s driver’s license in it. Someone mailed it when it was found in Hornell, New York on October 1.
Nieko’s family reported him missing on October 5. The authorities talked to Robert about Nieko, but Robert had some sort of medical emergency during questioning and he was taken to the hospital.
On October 9, the day that Robert was released from the hospital, he was found dead in his parent’s home from an apparent overdose.
Nieko is still missing and his family has created a Facebook campaign to bring awareness to that.
Nieko is 5’10” tall, 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo with Chinese writing on the back of his right arm, a large angel on his right side and a woman with a devil’s tail on his left side.
