Muskogee police said that Beth called police from a Braums restaurant in Muskogee around 10 p.m. Saturday and reported that she had been abducted at gunpoint and had escaped, and she drove her car to the restaurant to call police.
Authorities are still investigating.

Bethany “Beth” Stroud, 18, from Frisco, Texas was last seen leaving her job as a ticket taker at the Dr. Pepper Arena on Friday night.

The authorities said that there was a 911 call that came from Beth’s cell phone around 9:52 p.m. from the Dr. Pepper Center.  That was approximately 20 minutes after she was seen in the parking lot. 

“There was no one speaking, it was just a muffled noise in the background.  Couldn’t make out what it was, ” said Officer Greg Barnett.

Family and friends have been searching the city for Bethany and her 1998 teal colored Pontiac Sunfire with a black top.  Texas license plate CSB475.

A friend of Beth’s said that Beth attends Lonestar High School and that she works several jobs and is also enrolled in college courses. 

Police said the surveillance footage from the Dr. Pepper Arena show Bethany leaving the building, but it doesn’t show her by her car. 

The Oklahoma police have been called in and it may be because the Oklahoma border is about 70 miles away.   

Bethany is 5’10” tall, 125 pounds with red hair and blue eyes.
