Philip Patnaude: Missing from Chicago Found

UPDATE:The police Marine Unit have found and recovered a body Monday  near Belmont Harbor.  Divers on the scene confirmed to CBS 2 Chicago news that the body pulled from the water was Patnaude’s.

Philip Patnaude, 28, a native of Downers Grove who lives in Lakeview, was last seen out with his friends.  He left the group and took a cab from Wellington and Broadway to Belmont Harbor about 2:30 on Saturday morning, March 3, 2012.  He has not been heard from since.

The Chicago Police Marine Unit have been searching the lakefront.  Friends found Phil’s jacket at the harbor. 

The Marine Unit plans to continue searching the water tonight with robots, while helicopters shine lights on the water from above. 

New divers will resume searching in the morning if nothing is found tonight.

Philip is engaged to be married in October and is an engineer. 

Philip is 6’1″ tall, 175 pounds with light complexion and blond hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a dark purple button down shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
