Doug Coker: Missing business owner from Georgia Found

UPDATE: The body of missing Doug Coker has been found on a property in Jones County on Sunday.  His body was found in a house in Macon. Investigators have reportedly issued an arrest warrant for a Jones County woman.

A homicide investigation is underway as the Jones County Sheriff said that “He didn’t do it himself.” 

Doug Coker, 67, from Stockbridge, GA was last seen by a surveillance camera at the McDonald’s in Monroe County.  He arrived there about 11:00 and left at 11:35 a.m. in his 2009 Dodge Avenger on Tuesday, March 13.

Doug is the owner of Coker Properties which deals in commercial and residential properties and he was driving from Henry County to Macon County for a meeting.  He made several cell phone calls after the meeting and the authorities got a hit off of the Monroe County cell phone tower at 2:10 p.m.

Doug is 5’11” tall, 220 pounds, gray hair and was last seen wearing a plaid, button-up shirt, khaki pants and eye glasses.  His Dodge Avenger is gray with plates BVM-1089.
