Michael Dietz: Missing from Pennsylvania

UPDATE 8/28/15 – MSP Detective Jacquelyn Stasiak told 24 Hour News 8 over the phone that there was “no evidence of value” found during the dig at a home in Lowell previously owned by Rami Saba at 909 Bowes St., who was linked to Dietz’ disappearance in Sept. 2007.

A PI told the police that a K-9 had hit on a specific area that indicated human remains were there.  Another K-9 cadaver dog was brought in but there was not hit.

Rami Saba was sentenced to 32 years in prison in 2011 on 11 federal charges.  Police have thought all along that Saba kidnapped Dietz in Saranac, to steal his identity and take his $443,000 in life savings, then cremated Dietz and buried remains under a garden in his yard..

Michael Dietz, 57, known as the “Bicycle Man” was last seen walking away from his home in College Township near Lemont on February 27, 2007 and he has not been seen since.

Michael is a professional artists that has won awards for his work.  He works with copper and makes sculptures from recycled material.

Michael is 5’9″ tall, 160 pounds and a white beard.
