Elgin Stafford: Missing from Los Angeles County Found


UPDATE:  Elgin Davis was found in the Dominguez Channel in Carson, Calif. on Thursday.  He was found floating in the channel near 213th Street.  Police have not released any more info than this, nor whether they suspect foul play.

Elgin Stafford, 23,  was last seen leaving his home in the city on the 2000 block of Campaign Drive in Carson, California around 5:30 a.m. on March 20, 2012.

Elgin has no known psychiatric disorders, but police said he had recently exhibited erratic behavior.

Elgin is 5’10” tall, 145 pounds.  He has a tattoo on his right shoulder of a Bonsai tree and a birthmark near his left thumb.

He was wearing a dark jacket, a multi-colored pair of pants and a black shirt.

Elgin is a graduate student from USC and an alum of UC Berkeley and a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.  He also had an internship last summer with U.S. Representative Karen Bass.
