Isabel Alvarado: Missing from Houston Found

UPDATE:
Law enforcement said on Sunday they believe they have found the charred remains of Isabel Alvarado who has been missing since March 30.

On Sunday, Isabel’s husband, Carlos Antonio Alvarado, 45, was arrested and charged with her murder.  He was also wanted for a 1997 assault charge, reports KENS 5 news. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said that Carlos confessed to choking Isabel to death,  reports KTRK news.

Previous story:
Isabel Alvarado, 39,  was last seen leaving her job at the Taco bell on Highway 6 near Keith Harrow after 3:00 a.m. on March 30.  She has not been seen since.

“This is so unusual,” Marissa Ramirez, her niece, said.  “We found her truck down Keith Harrow, just a couple of blocks away from her house, maybe four minutes walking distance.  That’s what got everybody’s attention.”

Isabel’s four children have started moving from the home they rent because they are not able to pay the rent and Isabel disappeared the day before it was due.

The children’s father who Isabel separated from in December and then got back together with a month ago has not help in the search efforts according to the children.

“[He] has not been over here on the search, he has not made a phone call to see what he can do to help.  Maybe he’s just distraught over her disappearance.”

Isabel  is 5’5″ tall, 135 pounds and was wearing her Taco Bell uniform when she went missing.

If you have any information about her whereabouts, please call the Harris County Sheriff’s Dept. at 713-967-5810.
