Arthur Hartung: Missing man from Arizona Found

UPDATE:  May 7, 2012 –  De Anza Search and Rescue found Arthur’s  body on Sunday, May 6th.  Border Patrol agents had found the man’s vehicle near the military Bombing Range north of Niland on April 29th.   The body was found in the Bombing Range. Garcia said an autopsy is pending to determine the cause of death.

Arthur Hartung, 77, is missing from his home on the 4200 block of North Limberlost Circle in Tucson, Arizona since Tuesday.

Arthur’s wife said that she left their home in the morning and when she returned Arthur was gone.  She said he could have left anytime between 8 and 2:00 p.m.

Tuscon Police said that Arthur’s credit card was used in Winterhaven, California on Tuesday.  At this point they do not know if he used the cards or not. 

Arthur is 5’10” tall, 175 pounds and is bald with blue eyes.  He is wearing a dark colored t-shirt, black sweatpants and dark slip on shoes and eyeglasses.  Arthur also has a white beard and a scar above his left eye.  He may be driving his white 2001 Chevrolet Blazer with places 1465VT.

Arthur has dementia and may be confused.
