Stephanie Kirk: Missing from Indiana Found

UPDATE:  April 28, 2012 – The body of Stephanie Marie Kirk, 35, who was last seen walking toward the Uptown Bar in Indiana has been found buried in the backyard of a home on Saturday, reports the Courier-Journal.

Stephanie’s remains were found in the backyard of William Clyde Gibson’s home in New Albany, Indiana.  The cause of death has been determined to be strangulation said the Floyd County Coroner. 

Stephanie was last seen walking toward the Uptown Bar in New Albany, Indiana on March 25, 2012.  She was believed to be going to meet a man named Jeff Gohan.  They planned to meet at the bar around 1:00 p.m. on that Sunday in March and then travel to Shelbyville to pick up a motorcycle and go for a ride. Stephanie never showed up.
Stephanie’s remains were found on Friday evening after police brought a backhoe to Gibson’s property and began digging after he confessed to her murder.

Law enforcement believe she was going to meet a man named Jeff Gohan, who is around 50’s years, old. 

They planned to meet at the bar around 1:00 p.m., on that Sunday in March, and then travel to Shelbyville to pick up a motorcycle and go for a ride. 

Police have searched and have not been able to find any leads where she might be.  Jeff Gohan can not be located either.

Stephanie is 5’5″ tall, 150 pounds with blonde hair and blue yes.
