Hunter Barnes: Missing Teen from Tennessee Found

UPDATE:   Hunter Barnes has been found safe.  Police said he was found in Santa Monica on Wednesday. 

His family said they don’t know why he went to California and they’re working to fly him back home.

Barnes’ sister, Cheyenne Dale Barnes, posted on Facebook Wednesday, “This is from me and all my family. THANK YOU EVERYONE for all that you have done for my family. Thank you for the prayers because all of our prayers came true. God is amazing! Our family can’t express how much it means to us to have all this support and all the prayers. Thank you to those who set up the walk and those that came. Thank you for all who bought a shirt. THANK YOU THANK YOU”

Hunter Barnes, 17, from Maryville, Tennessee was last seen around 9:30 a.m. on June 13, 2012, at the Fairview Branch Alcoa Tenn Federal Credit Union in Maryville, Tenn. 

Hunter is 5’9″ tall, 150 pounds, blue eyes, dark brown hair and driving a white 2000 Mazda Protege with license plate C3708Y.
