David Goeser: Missing from LA FOUND

UPDATE:  David’s remains were found near Los Liones Canyon Trail in the Pacific Palisades.  The coroner identified the body and stated David died from an apparent suicide.  A gun was found near the remains.


UPDATE:  New information has surfaced from David’s family that stated he had a medical condition and was taking medication at the time of his disappearance.  His dad said that he was also struggling with depression.

“He may be heading north to Vancouver, WA via public transportation,” the missing person poster said.

His family went to his house to check on him after not hearing from him in over week, but only found his identification, cellphone and credit cards, reported the LA Times.

“He left everything behind,” Mark Goeser said. “That is very concerning to us.”

David John Goeser, 22, is missing from West Los Angeles.

He was last seen by is roommates at their shared home in the 1000 block of Rebling Avenue.  On Thursday his white Toyota Corolla was found in Pacific Palisades near Tramonto and Los Liones Drive.

Goeser left his ID, cellphone and credit cards behind, but he may be carrying a Washington state driver’s license with the number GOESEDJ106L4.

Goeser is an English major at UCLA and is an honors student.
