Emmelia Ward: Missing from Florida Found

UPDATE:  July 29, 2012  The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office says Emmelia has been found safe.

Emmelia Ward, 10, is missing after her father, Keller Ward took her from her grandfather’s home in Sarasota, Florida, according to Brandenton news.

At 9:15 a.m. Saturday, her father went to where she was staying on Peacock Road in Sarasota.  Her father and grandfather got into an argument and Emmelia was taken to her dad’s car.

Keller Ward, 36, has an outstanding civil order related to visitation issues by which law enforcement is supposed to be able to verify the location and welfare of the child and her mother for safety reasons.  Keller is believed to be traveling with Emmelia and her mother Jessica Ward, 36.

Emmelia is described as stand 4-feet 9-inches tall, weighing 76 pounds. She was seen wear a red graphic T-shirt and a black or blue skirt.

Keller Ward is described as standing 6-feet 2-inches tall and weighing 186 pounds.

The family was in a large gray sport utility vehicle.
