Christina Howie and daughter missing from Mississippi Found

UPDATE:  A mother and daughter from Oxford, MS have been found safe and sound after being missing for days.

Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department investigator Jarrett Bundren said a missing persons report was filed Sunday for Oxford mother Christina Howie, 32, and her seven-year-old daughter Caitlyn after they went missing on a trip to D’Iberville on August 1.  They were scheduled to be back Sunday.

It was confirmed they were at a motel Friday night.

Christina Howie is described as being 5′ 3″, weighing 135 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Her daughter stands about 4′ tall, weighs 70 pounds, and also has brown hair and blue eyes.

Howie was last seen driving a 2007 blue Nissan Altima with tag number LYI-987.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to contact the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department.
