Isiah Amari Terry: Missing 10-year-old from Greensboro Found

UPDATE:  Amari was located around 3:20 p.m. near his residence on Guest Street. Neighbors said they saw the child sitting outside in the rain, offered him a sandwich and called police.

Isiah “Amari” Terry, 10, has been missing from Greensboro, N. C. where he lives with his mother on the 1500 block of Guest Street since Sunday.

Amari left his home after getting in a fight with his mother around 9:30 a.m.   His mom said she went out to look for him, but he was gone.

“We’ve searched the neighborhood, we’ve checked businesses in the area, we’ve spoken to residents.  At this point we haven’t found anyone who has seen him, Captain Jane Allen told myfox 8 news.

Amari’s mom says that he usually plays across the street and does not go into the neighboring woods.

“There is the possibility that he might have gotten into a car with someone and be even father from this neighborhood,” said Cpt. Allen.

Terry is 10-years old, black, and approximately 4′ and approximately 50 lbs., skinny build, light complexion, short close cut black hair.

Terry’s right arm is disabled and does not operate or function at all.  He was dressed for church and was last seen wearing a cream colored long sleeve dress shirt, brown pants, brown vest, brown tie and black dress shoes.  If you see him, please call 911.
If you have any information about his whereabouts, please call 336-373-1000.
