Katelyn Riley: MIssing from Massachusetts Found

UPDATE:  Sept 23, 2012 – Katelyn Riley’s body was found Friday at the Fallbrook Condominiums near Central Street reports the Sentineland Enterprise.  An autopsy will determine the cause of death.  The police said the death does not appear suspicious.

Katelyn Riley from Massachusetts has not been seen since Sept. 7.  Police are still investigating the disappearance of Katelyn, who moved between Saugus, where her family lives, and Gardner, where she would stay with Mark Robinson, the father of Ms. Riley’s 2-year-old son, reports the Telegram.

There have been sightings of her in Templeton and Leominster, but nothing has been confirmed.

Her mother said the last time she spoke with her daughter was at 11 p.m. Sept. 7 when Ms. Riley told her she was leaving an acquaintance’s house on Chapman Street in Leominster.

“I had a fight with her on the phone, and all we know is, she shut her phone off at 11 p.m. and we haven’t seen her since,” her mother said. “She’s never shut her phone off in her entire life.”

Her mother also said that Katelyn was sick from mononucleosis and was taking antibiotics.

“She is very naïve, sensitive and vulnerable,” she said. “She’s just a great kid with a big heart looking for friends.”

She described Ms. Riley as a 4-foot tall, cute Asian with a little bit of attitude.
