Is Clyde Hall the Candy Man?

Candyman of Arvada

UPDATE:  10-11-12  The police have towed off a blue Buick that was found behind a Wal-Mart in New Hampshire.  This vehicle does not have the skirt on the back wheels.  Sgt. Dave Keaveny confirmed the car found in Portsmouth, a light blue Buick station wagon, was also sighted in Dexter, Maine.
Here is the link to the picture of the vehicle.

Previous story:
To the left is a sketch of a man that the Arvada Police believe  has been trying to lure children into his car with candy, thus I will refer to him as the Candyman. The man tried twice to approach children near Warder Elementary School and Fitzmorris Elementary School in Colorado.  Arvada is the next town over from where Jessica Ridgeway, 10, went missing from on Friday.

The guy on the right is Clyde Hall from Albany, New York.  The U.S. Marshall is looking for him after he failed to report to an Albany halfway house in March after serving a two-year sentence at a federal prison in North Carolina.  He is listed as 15 most wanted and he admitted to sexually abusing two 10-year-old girls.  He likes to hang around school grounds and playgrounds.

The Candyman and Clyde Hall look kinda similar, but with sketches it is not always easy to make a match.

Today in Dexter, Maine, a woman reported seeing a girl who looked like Jessica on Sunday in a blue Buick station wagon with Colorado plates.  Note: Hall pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual contact and gross sexual misconduct after exposing himself and touching a 10-year-old girl in Androscoggin County Maine.

I wanted to see what a Buick station wagon might look like. Although they did not say what year, I pick the 90’s BECAUSE the Candyman was seen driving a 1990’s vehicle.

What I found was this picture below of a 1995 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon in blue.

1995 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon
The Candyman was driving a royal blue sedan with rear wheels covered with a “skirt” similar to those seen on a  1996 Cadillac Deville.  If you notice in this picture, the Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon has the rear wheels covered with a skirt.   They didn’t call the car the Candyman was driving a station wagon, but they did say it had four doors.  The Buick Roadmaster has four doors. Maybe Candyman wasn’t driving a sedan, instead he was driving a station wagon.

All we need to know now is if there are any Buick Roadmaster’s reported stolen in Colorado.

Authorities issued a statewide alert for officers to stop any blue Buick station wagons with Colorado plates.

Also, there was also another man in Arvada last year that tried to abduct children.  One he actually grabbed but she managed to get away.   Click hear to read about him.
