Christopher "Sloan" Taylor, 39, from Roseville, Michigan was last seen Oct. 4 after getting his car repaired, said his mother, Vikki Taylor Harper, an Atlanta-area resident.
Taylor is a salesman of industrial equipment and has two children, reports the Detroit News.
Harper said she doesn't necessarily expect foul play but said her son would not just walk away without his family knowing where he is. She also said he was having some personal and financial problems since the divorce.
Taylor's car, a 1997 Blue Mercury Villager van, also is missing, his mother said.
Harper posted: My son, Sloan Taylor 39, was last heard from Thursday, October 4, 2012. He never went to work the following day and failed to show up at his 8 year old son football game on Saturday. Numerous attempts were made to contact his phone but as of Saturday night the phone was no longer on. He has not shown up for work on Monday or Tuesday either. His neighbor that lives across the street from him, saw a woman driving Sloan's mini-van late Thursday afternoon. She drove into the driveway, got out and went into the house, then came back out and got into the vehicle and left the house. Sloan is 5'8", around 155lbs and Caucasian with med brown hair. If anyone has seen or heard from him please contact the Roseville Police Dept. "
