Alicia Moore: Teen missing from Texas Found

UPDATE:  Alicia Moore’s body has been identified.  She was found in a trunk under a bridge in Van Zandt County, about 35 miles from Alicia’s home. Inside was Alicia’s body with what appeared to be trauma wounds.

Earlier this year, on January 17, Khania Bailey-Hatley, 14, who goes to the same school at Alicia, left the school bus in the 4200 block of Stuart Street and began walking home when she was grabbed by a man who told her to come with him. The young teen was able to pull away and run. Khania’s parents no longer let her ride the bus, reports KHOU News.

That suspect was identified as a white male, 30 years old, tall and skinny, wearing a hat, glasses and had facial hair and was wearing a blue jacket and blue jeans. This same man was also seen a month earlier watching the students get off the bus. At that time he was on a bicycle.

NOTE:  The day before Alicia’s disappearance a notice was sent home to parents regarding a suspicious person who approached a student on Wednesday. KTLV reports that the incident turned out to be a case of mistaken identity as the man explained he thought the student was another student that he knew.
