Shawn Flewelling: Missing man from Maine Found

UPDATE:  Shawn’s body was found Thursday morning on the shore of the Penobscot River by people walking by the river.  There are no signs of foul play.

Shawn Joseph Flewelling, 38, is missing from Curve Street in Bangor, Maine.  His family reported him missing on Oct. 24, 2012.

Bangor police Sgt. Paul Edwards said Thursday that Flewelling “fell off the face of the Earth” on Oct. 4. “That man has vanished into thin air,” Edwards said.

Police describe Flewelling as 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing 180-200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoos of an eagle on his left arm, the name “Sara” on his right arm, dice on one of his hands and a cobweb on his right shoulder, according to police.
