Deputy Dustin Johnston was in Auburn attempting to serve a warrant on Garnet Way on Saturday at 6 p.m. when he noticed two cars parked on the side of the road and decided to have dispatchers run the license plates.
One of the plates matched up to Kathleen’s car when the deputy got closer to the car he noticed someone sitting in the backseat. It turned out to be Kathleen. Johnston called Kathleen’s daughter to let her know she was okay, and then Kathleen was taken to the hospital.
