Kathleen Pace: Woman missing from California Found

Kathleen PaceUPDATE:  1/13/13 – Kathleen was found in Placer County which is located in Sacramento Valley.

Deputy Dustin Johnston was in Auburn attempting to serve a warrant on Garnet Way on Saturday at 6 p.m. when he noticed two cars parked on the side of the road and decided to have dispatchers run the license plates.

One of the  plates matched up to Kathleen’s car when the deputy got closer to the car he  noticed someone sitting in the backseat.  It turned out to be Kathleen.  Johnston called Kathleen’s daughter to let her know she was okay, and then Kathleen was taken to the hospital.

Kathleen Pace, 65, from Rocklin in Sacramento County California has been missing since Tuesday, Jan 8, 2013.  Kathleen has dementia and was last seen Tuesday at about 4:10 p.m. leaving the Auburn Faith Hospital. She told family members the previous day that she was going to drive to Fontana to see her sister. Pace has not been seen or heard from since.

Also, family members told police that Kathleen took her clothes with her, but left behind some medication.

Kathleen is a white, 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds. She has gray hair and green eyes.

She may be driving a 1993 turquoise Plymouth Sundance with California license plate number 3ARE938.

She could be driving towards LA from Sacramento, so keep an eye out for her car as you are driving.
