Kaylee Rebert, 14, and  Nicholas Marino, 13,  from Thousand Oaks, Calif. were reported missing on Thursday.
Nicholas was reported missing first. Then deputies searched Kaylee’s house and found her missing, too.

The teens are boyfriend and girlfriend, and may be suicidal, officials said, but they would not go into why they think this.  Nicholas was reported missing around midnight and then the police checked out Kaylee’s house they found she was gone, too.

So far, authorities have searched Wildwood Regional Park which is about 2 miles from their homes after dogs led them there.

“As far as Wildwood Park — it’s a 1,700-acre park — and that was searched thoroughly yesterday by ground and by air,” said Sgt. Eric Bushow, of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department. “We’re satisfied that they’re not in the park, so now it becomes an investigation of essentially two runaways who are possibly at risk, we believe may be suicidal,” he said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s investigators at (805) 494-8201.
