UPDATE 5/26/13 – SAN ANDREAS, CA – Deputies say an elderly woman who was missing for 3 days was located safely on Sunday.

Fay Burford, 75, of Murphys, Calif. was reported missing on Friday, after she did not return home from an appointment in Walnut Creek on Thursday morning.

Calaveras County sheriff’s Sgt. Chris Hewitt said Burford’s  bank card was used twice on Thursday.  Once in Colinga at 6:30 p.m. once in Lake Isabelle at 11:30 p.m.

Burford was driving a faded silver or taupe colored 1996 Jeep Cherokee, with license plate 4YMC949.

Anyone with information on Burford’s whereabouts is urged to call the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Department at 209-754-6500.
