Brian Histand: Missing Phoenix man last seen near South Mountain FOUND

UPDATE 5/4/16 – Brian’s cause of death could not be determined by the medical examiner.

UPDATE:  1/24/16 – Posted on Brians Facebook page: “After more than two and a half years I got the call. The remains of my son Brian have been located on South Mountain in Phoenix. Many thanks to all that cared, helped and searched for Brian. I’ll post when more information is available.”

Original story:  Brian Histand, 25, from Phoenix, Arizona was last seen on 35th Avenue and Dobbins Road walking toward South Mountain on May 15, 2013. A 25-year-old Valley man was last seen on May 15 and now new information has come out on Thursday that reveals that he may be suffering from a concussion. Brian Histand a professional BMX rider with his own brand of BMX clothing called Veil Brand, went missing just a few days after he was showing symptoms of confusion which may have resulted from a fall while riding. Brian was last seen near 35th Avenue and Dobbins Road walking southbound towards South Mountain after he lost the keys to his vehicle, it stated on the Brian Histand Missing Person Facebook Page. His car was found and towed away on May 17 and his wallet with his ID and credit car were inside, reports the Glendale Star. His keys were found in an open field.  Brian who is originally from Pennsylvania just recently moved to Phoenix and is not that familiar with the area. Brian’s family have been searching for him in the area and are now planning a search party on Saturday, June 8.
