Sida Osman: 5-year-old missing in Fort Worth Found

UPDATE:  6/27/13 -A 13-year-old teen has been arrested by Fort Worth police in connection with the beating death of Sida.  The police said that the teen “hit him (Sida) multiple times in the head causing his death,” because he was bothering him. 
 
UPDATE 6/27/13 – A Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s report confirmed Thursday that Sida died from blunt force trauma to the head. Let’s hope he is not forgotten and whoever did this to him is found.

UPDATE 6/26/13 – Although there will be a confirmation by the ME, officials believe that the Sida’s body was found on 4801 Lois in the back yard of the vacant house around 1 p.m. on Wednesday.   Carl Williams, said he found the boy’s body after a woman told him she’d heard the boy was behind the vacant house.

Previous story:  Sida Osman, 5, from Fort Worth, Texas was last seen on Tuesday evening when he was outside playing at the Weber Garden Apartments in the 4800 block of Virgil Street in East Fort Worth.

Sida’s mother said she called for him to come home and he took off in another direction.  Authorities stated they were not called till 10:30 p.m. that night and told he was missing.  Authorities also stated that there was some language difficulties in getting information from the family as they do not speak English, but speak Somali.

A crime scene van has showed up at the apartment complex on Wednesday morning and has parked next to a white van that police were seen taking photos of, reports NBCDFW.com news

The authorities have gone door-to-door to look for him but he is still missing. 

Sida was wearing a blue short sleeve shirt with a white stripe on both sleeves and blue shorts.  He has black hair and brown eyes and one of his front teeth are missing and he has a silver tooth.    Sida does not speak English.
