Radivoje Ray Novakovic: Senior missing from Hugo Found

UPDATE:  7/29/13 – Ray was found on July 28, Sunday night in a swampy area near his home in Hugo.  According to KMSP-TV, Volunteers who had never even met him were able to bring him home to a family that had been wondering where he was for a week.

Radivoje “Ray” Novakovic, 75, of Hugo, Minn. has not been seen since Sunday, July 21 near the Fable Hills Bridge, where he was taking a walk.

Ray left the 13000 block of Europa Trail wearing a maroon shirt, khaki pants and a brown hat.  He is 5’6″ inches tall, weighs 160 lbs. and has gray and white hair. Ray is known to get disoriented and also has diabetes and is mildly bipolar.

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding him.

Ray is used to walking, but he may have fallen or gotten lost.  Please check your properties if you live in the area and also any outbuildings or sheds.

Volunteers are welcome to come help search for him.

Anyone with information about Novakovic’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Washington County Sheriff’s Office at 651-439-9381.
