Isaiah Perez: Amber Alert for toddler missing from Johnston Found

UPDATE:  Isaiah has been found safe.  He was found wandering the streets of Providence, according to Johnston Police Deputy Chief Daniel Parillo.

“A patrol man found him while on patrol just walking on the sidewalk. We don’t know if he was dropped off, if he was left off there, we don’t have any particulars at this time,” he said.

Daniel Rodriguez has been arrested as a second suspect and he was taken into custody by police in Providence early Sunday evening, Parillo said.

Previous story:
An Amber Alert has been activated for a missing 2-year-old Rhode Island boy.

This story is still developing and there is some inconsistancies.

Isaiah (aka Isaih) Perez was found missing after two people were found dead in his home on Oaktree Drive in Johnston on Sunday.

Malcolm Crowell, 22, was arrested at 12:30 p.m. in Massachusetts on Sunday afternoon at his place of employment on suspicion of murder of the two adults.  They believed he took Isaiah at the time, but have not been able to find him.

Then the Massachusetts State Police spokesperson Dave Procopio later said Crowell was not connected.

Investigators were still working to determine the relationships among the 22-year-old Crowell, the boy and the two homicide victims, Parrillo said. It is unclear whether Crowell was living in the home, was a guest or was uninvited, he said.

If you have any information on this case, please call the Rhode  State Police at 401-462-6237.
